Granoff Architects won a People’s Pick Award from AtHome Magazine for the Modern Architecture category. The 5,500 sf home was built in Atlantic beach, NY.
Granoff Architects won Serendipity’s Design Innovator Award in the category “Bringing the Outdoors In”. The award-winning project is the Granoff Residence in Old Greenwich, CT.
Granoff Architects received an Award from CT Trust for Historic Preservation for the design of 330 Railroad Avenue, an important landmark in the Town of Greenwich. Given its prominent location, thousands of people view the building each day. The property had fallen into complete disrepair over the years, becoming an eyesore to the community. Rich Granoff and Jeff Mendell purchased the building in 2016 and implemented a major gut-rehab of the entire structure. They worked very closely with SHPO and the Town of Greenwich to meticulously restore the building. This included the Art Deco masonry façade, historic replica windows, removal of bad additions and landscaping of the entire site. This resulted in a very successful turnaround, which has been overwhelmingly accepted by the community. The project also received two local awards. The Greenwich Historic Society presented their 2018 Preservation Award to Rich and Jeff. In addition, the Greenwich Trust presented the team with its Leadership Award.

Granoff Architects received an Award from At Home Magazine for this project in Jupiter, FL. The clean exterior lines of this Balinese inspired home set it apart from its neighbors. An infinity edge pool and screened exterior room create the perfect exterior for entertaining or relaxing. Mahogany and Cypress wood accents throughout the interior tie the houses open floor plan together. The layout of the house creates an exterior courtyard of privacy from the neighbors while serving as a focal point for all the rooms to views onto. All of this with the water views as the backdrop make this unique Architecture a special house for our clients to call home.
Granoff Architects received an Award from the CT Trust for Historic Preservation for the design of the adaptive re-use of the Greenwich Post Office for Restoration Hardware’s new Gallery. Rich Granoff received the award at a ceremony in Hartford on April 8, along with building owner Peter Malkin and other team members on the project. The job entailed the complete restoration of the existing Beaux Arts structure, plus the addition of a new wing and second floor. The project involved and extremely complicated approvals process, 2 clients and a large team of consultants. Granoff Architects is proud to have been a part of such an important project for downtown Greenwich.
Granoff Architects received the first place award from the Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) Inc. for the Adaptive Reuse of Restoration Hardware at 310 Greenwich Avenue. The Historic neoclassical building was restored and re-imagined and now serves as backdrop for Restoration Hardware in a gallery setting. The Excellence in Construction Awards celebration honors the nation’s most innovative and high quality construction projects, safety programs and diversity programs. The 25th Annual Excellence in Construction Awards Gala will take place on March 5th in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
