Jake Granoff

Jake is a Senior Project Architect at Granoff Architects and Vice President of Development at Granoff Real Estate. In this combined role, he spearheads all design, entitlements and construction administration for all of GRE’s projects. His comprehensive architecture and real estate background make him uniquely qualified for this position.

Jake is a licensed architect in Connecticut, New York, Kentucky and Tennessee. He received his Bachelor of Architecture from Syracuse University, and worked for four years as a Project Architect at Morris Adjmi Architects in NYC. In this role, he gained extensive experience in ground-up mixed-use developments and adaptive reuse multifamily projects. While at MA, his experiences extended to skyscraper design, university housing, and coordinating with many of NYC’s approval processes. Jake also had summer internships at Robert AM Stern Architects, A+I Architecture and Joeb Moore & Partners.

Jake pivoted from architecture to development in 2022 at NYU’s Schack Institute of Real Estate. His concentration in Business & Entrepreneurship and minor in Sustainability, coupled with his leadership role as Co-Chair of the Sustainability Committee, reflect his commitment to sustainable practices with every endeavor. Upon graduating, Jake was bestowed the Schack Leadership Award, a faculty-voted accolade given to a student who demonstrates exceptional potential for leadership in the real estate industry.

After graduating from NYU’s Schack Institute with his Masters of Real Estate Development, Jake worked for a start-up real estate developer designing luxury hospitality projects in the South and Midwest. During his tenure, he gained exposure and insight into the company’s vertically integrated family business structure that had design, build, marketing, management and investment arms all in-house.
